This page explains how users can request the deletion of their accounts and associated personal data for GO1 Taxi applications. GO1 Taxi provides applications for customers, drivers, and fleet owners.

Users may request the deletion of their account and associated data at any time by following the procedures described on this page.

This Account and Data Deletion Policy applies to the following GO1 Taxi applications:

2. How to Request Account and Data Deletion

Users can request the deletion of their account and associated personal data by contacting us at the following email address:

Users should send the deletion request from the email address associated with their account, where possible, and specify the application they use and their account type.

For example, users may specify whether they use:

GO1 Taxi – Customer Account.
GO1 Taxi Driver – Driver Account.
GO1 Taxi Owner – Fleet Owner Account.

Users may also request account deletion through the application settings if an account deletion option is available within the application.

3. Account and Data Deletion

When we receive an account deletion request, we may review the request and take reasonable steps to verify the identity of the account owner before processing the deletion request, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

When the deletion request is completed, personal data associated with the account that is not required to be retained by law will be deleted or removed.

4. Data That May Be Deleted

Depending on the account type and services used, the data deleted or removed after completing an account deletion request may include:

Account and profile information.
Name and contact information associated with the account.
Trip information associated with the account, where deletion is permitted.
Location data associated with the account, where deletion is permitted.
Wallet information associated with the account, where deletion is permitted.
Vehicle information associated with a driver or fleet owner account, where deletion is permitted.
Personal documents that are not legally required to be retained.
Other personal data associated with the account that is not subject to a legal retention requirement.

5. Data That May Be Retained

Some data may not be deleted immediately if we are required or permitted to retain it under applicable laws and regulations, or if retention is necessary for legitimate purposes.

Such data may include:

Financial records and transactions that are legally required to be retained.
Data necessary to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
Trip and transaction records that are legally required to be retained.
Data necessary to prevent fraud and misuse.
Data necessary to investigate disputes or protect legal rights.
Data necessary to protect the security and safety of users and services.

Such data will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the applicable legal, regulatory, or security purpose. Once the applicable retention period has expired, the data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Requesting Deletion of Specific Data

Users may request the deletion of specific personal data without deleting their entire account, where applicable. Each request will be evaluated based on the nature of the data and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

If certain data is part of records that we are legally required to retain, we may not be able to delete that data until the applicable retention period has expired.

7. Deleting the Application from the Device

Uninstalling GO1 Taxi, GO1 Taxi Driver, or GO1 Taxi Owner from a user’s device does not automatically delete the user’s account or associated data.

To delete an account and its associated data, users must submit an account deletion request using one of the methods described on this page.

8. Identity Verification

We may request additional information to verify the identity of the account owner before processing an account deletion request. This is intended to protect user accounts and personal data from unauthorized deletion requests.

A deletion request may be rejected or temporarily suspended if we are unable to adequately verify the identity of the account owner.

9. Deletion Processing Time

Reviewing and processing an account and associated data deletion request may take up to 30 days, depending on the nature of the request and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Where certain data must be retained by law, it will be retained for the required period. Once the applicable retention period expires, the data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

After the account deletion process is completed, the user will no longer be able to access the deleted account or use services associated with that account.

10. Creating a New Account

After an account has been deleted, the user may be able to create a new account in the future, subject to the registration requirements and services available at that time.

Data that has been deleted as part of the account deletion process will not be restored unless restoration is permitted and available under applicable laws and service policies.
